Electric Motor Application

Linear Motor

A linear motor is a device that converts electrical energy into linear mechanical motion by expanding a closed magnetic field into an open one. The structure of a linear motor can be seen as slicing a rotating motor radially and unfolding its circumferential surface into a straight line. A permanent magnet linear motor, on the other hand, utilizes the interaction between the magnetic field generated by permanent magnets and the stator magnetic field to produce linear motion of the mover.
Application Area
Industrial Automation: linear motors are widely used in automation equipment, enhancing production efficiency and precision.
Precision positioning and measurement: in equipment such as CNC machines and coordinate measuring machines, linear motors ensure high-precision positioning and measurement.
Aerospace and military equipment: they are utilized in missile launches, satellite control, and other applications, providing rapid response and high-precision control.
Medical devices: linear motors are applied in surgical robots, enabling precise and safe surgical operations.
Rail transit: as the core technology of maglev trains, linear motors provide efficient and smooth driving force.
